Grain export 2021/22: corn export volume surged by 2x YoY by July 23

Staple grains export shipment from Ukraine since the start of the 2021/22(1 July 2021-30 June 2022) season has come to 1.66 mln t. As reported by the Agrarian Ministry, commodities shipment as of 23 July increased by 548 thou. t or 49% YoY (23 July 2020: 1.11 mln t).

The UGA informed about 48.8 mln t of grains and oilseeds export from Ukraine in the 2020/21 season.
In its July report, the USDA projects wheat production in Ukraine another 0.5 mln t higher in 2021/22, corn production projection was left unchanged.
