Grain export 2021/22: wheat export 64% behind last season's supply

Staple grains export shipment from Ukraine since the start of the 2021/22(1 July 2021-30 June 2022) season has come to 1.79 mln t. As reported by the Agrarian Ministry, commodities shipment as of 26 July dropped by 548 thou. t or 23.47% YoY (31 July 2020: 2.34 mln t).

The UGA informed about 48.8 mln t of grains and oilseeds export from Ukraine in the 2020/21 season.
In its July report, the USDA projects wheat production in Ukraine another 0.5 mln t higher in 2021/22, corn production projection was left unchanged.
As of 22 July, the new crop campaign was 22% completed. Agriproducers harvested 14.1 mln t of early grain and leguminous crops. The average yield stood at 4.18 t/ha.
