Reni port transshipped its first mineral fertilizers consignment from Netherlands

The Port of Reni in Odesa region provided for the transshipment of new transit cargo, mineral fertilizers originating from the Netherlands, the port authority reports on Facebook.
"The first consignment of mineral fertilizer was delivered to the port on a self-propelled barge AMICE. The transshipment was performed at berth No. 3 by ReniLis. The cargo volume received in the port is 1,935 t. It will be packed into big bags at the ReniLis terminal and transported by trucks to one of the large grain companies in Moldova," the message reads.
The second and third consignments are expected to arrive in the port of Reni shortly. The total volume of mineral fertilizers is 6,000 t.
In 1H 2021, the Port of Reni transshipped 350 thou. t of cargo, 34.6% less YoY.
