First vessel with new crop wheat loaded at Neptune terminal for export to Thailand

Neptune Grain Terminal in the port of Pivdenny (Odesa region) loaded its first vessel with new crop grain for delivery to Thailand.

"Today, Neptune is processing the 225m-long, 32.26m-wide bulk carrier Okinawa, with a deadweight of 81,397 t. The vessel carrying 71,500 t of new crop feed wheat will soon head for Thailand," the message reads.

For context, Okinawa was the hundredth vessel to be handled by the terminal at its own berth number 25 since it started operations in September 2019 and the first to be loaded with new crop grain.

Okinawa sails under the flag of Liberia.

In June, the terminal reported 6.6 mln t of commodities transshipment since June 2018.
