Cattle processing facility with Turkish investment launched in Western Ukraine

The first enterprise for the processing of beef breeds of cattle was commissioned in Rivne region. Halal-Company has launched meat production with the capacity of 10 t per day.

As reported by the Chairman of Rivne Region State Administration Vitaliy Koval, the facility will produce environmentally sound and safe meat products.

"The cattle processing plant is a large-scale investment project in Rivne region, it costs over UAH 70 mln. It will create dozens of new jobs and facilitate the development of the region," marks Vitaliy Koval.

Construction, purchase and installation of equipment at each stage were supervised by Turkish experts to ensure that the entire technological process meets the requirements put forward by the investors. With the commissioning, Halal-Company will apply for the Halal certificate to enable its export of products to all Islamic countries.

In summer, Liberia opened its market for Ukrainian chicken meat and products. Turkey also authorized dairy products import from Ukraine.
