Harvest Online 2020: grains and legumes campaign 80% completed

As of October 19, agriproducers in Ukraine harvested 62.2 mln t of main crops on 19.9 mln ha, of which grains and legumes total 47.4 mln t harvested on 12.3 mln ha, making up 80% of the planned areas.

As provided by the data of the Harvest Online 2020 project, new crop progress is as followed:

  • wheat: 25.1 mln t on 6.56 mln ha (100%) using the average yield of 3.83 t/ha
  • barley: 7.77 mln t on 2.38 mln ha (100%) yielding 3.26 t/ha
  • peas: 516.2 thou. t on 237.7 thou. ha (100%) yielding 2.17 t/ha
  • millet: 234.7 thou. t on 146 thou. ha (97%) yielding 1.61 t/ha
  • sunflower: 10.9 mln t on 5.5 mln ha (87%) yielding 1.96 t/ha
  • buckwheat: 93.3 thou. t on 73.9 thou. ha (94%) yielding 1.26 t/ha
  • soybean: 1.95 mln t on 966 thou. ha (72%) yielding 2.02 t/ha
  • corn: 11.1 mln t on 2.4 mln ha (44%) yielding 4.64 t/ha

Rapeseed campaign was completed on 1.11 mln ha (100%): 2.55 mln t, 2.29 t/ha.

Sugar beet campaign on the reporting date progressed to 2.4 mln t on 56.6 thou. ha (26%) using the average yield of 41.95 t/ha.
