Ukrainian storage capacity leaders in 2018

The State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine (SFGCU) is the absolute leader in Ukraine in terms of elevator storage capacity in the year 2018 with 3.7 million tons of grain, Elevatorist.com reports.

Last year, large companies did not significantly expand their capacities, thus the list had undergone no principal changes as compared with 2017.

The TOP-10 companies by elevator capacities include:

  1. SFGCU — 3.7 million tons;
  2. Kernel — 2.8 million tons;
  3. Ukrlandfarming — 2.6 million tons;
  4. NIBULON — 2 million tons;
  5. State Reserve — 1.2 million tons;
  6. Myronivsky Hliboproduct (MHP) — 1.1 million tons;
  7. Optimus Agro — 1.09 million tons;
  8. Prometey — 1.04 million tons;
  9. TESSLAGROUP — 0.8 million tons;
  10. Glencore International — 0.7 million tons.

As of January 1st, 2019, storage capacities of grain, leguminous and oilseed crops in Ukraine totalled 78.3 million tons.
