Harvest Online 2020: new harvest sunflower at 10.5 mln t, 84% of planned areas

As of October 15, agriproducers in Ukraine harvested 60.5 mln t of main crops on 19.5 mln ha, of which grains and legumes total 45.7 mln t harvested on 12.06 mln ha, making up 78% of the planned areas.

As provided by the data of the Harvest Online 2020 project, new crop progress is as followed:

  • wheat: 25.1 mln t on 6.56 mln ha (100%) using the average yield of 3.83 t/ha
  • barley: 7.77 mln t on 2.38 mln ha (100%) yielding 3.26 t/ha
  • peas: 516.2 thou. t on 237.7 thou. ha (100%) yielding 2.17 t/ha
  • millet: 230.6 thou. t on 143.7 thou. ha (96%) yielding 1.61 t/ha
  • sunflower: 10.5 mln t on 5.4 mln ha (84%) yielding 1.96 t/ha
  • buckwheat: 92.1 thou. t on 73 thou. ha (93%) yielding 1.26 t/ha
  • soybean: 1.8 mln t on 917.1 thou. ha (68%) yielding 2 t/ha
  • corn: 10 mln t on 2.2 mln ha (40%) yielding 4.62 t/ha

Rapeseed campaign was completed on 1.11 mln ha (100%): 2.55 mln t, 2.29 t/ha.

Sugar beet campaign on the reporting date progressed to 2 mln t on 46.9 thou. ha (22%) using the average yield of 41.82 t/ha.
