Corn stocks plunged by 27%

Grains and pulses stocks in Ukraine as of December 1 dropped to 23.14 mln t, 24% or 7.37 mln t lower YoY (30.5 mln t), the data of the State Statistics Service show.
Wheat stocks as of the reporting date decreased by 16% to 6.81 mln t. At the enterprises engaged in storage and processing, grain reserves amounted to 1.68 mln t, and at agricultural producers' facilities 5.19 mln t.
Under the statistical data, corn stocks were 27% lower from last year's and amounted to 14.1 mln t (Dec 1, 2019: 19.18 mln t), including 8.16 mln t accumulated by agricultural producers, at enterprises engaged in storage and processing 5.92 mln t.
Barley stocks in Ukraine in the reporting period reduced by 37% from last year's and amounted to 1.35 mln t: at the enterprises engaged in storage and processing, stocks of barley amounted to 346 thou. t, and at agricultural producers' facilities 1 mln t.
Rye stocks doubled and made up 212 thou. t: 92.6 thou. t at specialized storage facilities and 119.8 thou. t at agricultural producers' storages.
Sunflower reserves stood at 6.49 mln t (Dec 1, 2019: 8 mln t) or 19% lower, including 3.52 mln t stored by agricultural producers, and 2.97 mln t at enterprises engaged in storage and processing.
Soybean stocks in Ukraine as of Dec 1, dropped by 26% YoY to 1.46 mln t. On the reporting date last year, soybean stocks totalled 1.97 mln t. Agricultural enterprises stored 890.7 thou. t. Enterprises specializing in processing and storage kept 566.7 thou. t of the oilseed crop.
Rapeseed stocks reduced by 24% to 162.8 thou. t (Dec 1, 2019: 213.7 thou. t): 81.3 thou. t at specialized storage facilities and 81.5 thou. t at agricultural producers' storages.
As of December 14, agriproducers in Ukraine harvested 83.8 mln t of main crops on 24.1 mln ha, of which grains and legumes total 65.4 mln t harvested on 15.3 mln ha, making up 99% of the planned areas.
