Grain export 2021/22: corn supply from Ukraine made 158 thou. t

Staple grains export shipment from Ukraine since the start of the 2021/22(1 July 2021-30 June 2022) season has come to 254 thou. t. As reported by the Agrarian Ministry, commodities shipment as of July 7 increased by 38 thou. t or 17.5% YoY (July 7, 2020: 216 thou. t).

As a reminder, wheat production in Ukraine in the 2021 crop year is expected to exceed 30 mln t. Wheat production in Ukraine is projected by USDA in its June report at 29.5 mln t in 2021/22.
The UGA informed about 48.8 mln t of grains and oilseeds export from Ukraine in the 2020/21 season.
Agriproducers in the south of Ukraine reported winter wheat average yield at 2.5 t/ha, winter barley at 3.66 t/ha.
