Refined sunflower oil output 30% down in 1H 2021: state statistics
In the period January-June 2021, crushing plants in Ukraine produced 338.53 thou. t of refined sunflower oil, the State Statistics Service data show.
Refined sunoil production in the reporting period is 31.2% lower YoY. In June, refined sunflower oil outturn made up 55.09 thou. t, 31.9% lower YoY.
As reported, refined sunflower oil stocks at processing enterprises as of the end of June amounted to 21.02 thou. t, 14.2% up from April (24.5 thou. t).

Sunflower production 2020 in Ukraine was finalized at 13.1 mln t on 6.4 mln ha, the average yield stood at 2.06 t/ha.
Sunflower oil export from Ukraine in September-June 2020/21 reduced by 18% YoY.
The world's largest sunflower oil producer and exporter Kernel processed 33% less oilseeds in Q4 FY2021 due to a lower sunseeds production in Ukraine in 2020.
The USDA in its July report projects sunflower production in Ukraine at 16.7 mln t, sunflowerseed oil at 6.98 mln t.
