Grain export 2021/22: corn export supply 2.1x up YoY
Staple grains export shipment from Ukraine since the start of the 2021/22(1 July 2021-30 June 2022) season has come to 3.63 mln t. As reported by the Agrarian Ministry, commodities shipment as of 6 August intensified by 390 thou. t, 12% up YoY (6 Aug 2020: 3.24 mln t).

The UGA informed about 48.8 mln t of grains and oilseeds export from Ukraine in the 2020/21 season.
In its July report, the USDA projects wheat production in Ukraine another 0.5 mln t higher in 2021/22, corn production projection was left unchanged.
As of 29 July, the new crop campaign was 37% completed. Agriproducers harvested 24.29 mln t of early grain and leguminous crops. The average yield stood at 4.27 t/ha.
