Neptune boosted cargo handling by 66% in November
In November 2020, Neptune Grain Terminal in the port of Pivdenny (Odesa region) enhanced cargo turnover by around 66% YoY, having transshipped 478 thou. t of grains.
The terminal managers noted that Neptune was ranked second among the largest export terminals in Ukraine in terms of the volume of cargo handled. Thus, the terminal improved its position by 6 points.
As reported, the facility's share in the grain export from Ukraine in November 2020/21 amounted to 8.8%.
"Again Neptune proved its status of the largest investment project in agribusiness," the company says in a statement.
As a reminder, Neptune Grain Terminal handled more than 2.5 mln t of agricultural commodities and loaded 54 vessels since its official commissioning on Sep. 6, 2019.
