Quarter of the wealthiest businessmen in Ukraine engaged in agribusiness

The rating of the TOP 100 wealthiest people of Ukraine includes a considerable number of businessmen engaged in agribusiness. The list is compiled by the Focus magazine.
The rating includes the following businessmen:
- 1st place — Rinat Akhmetov, founder and President of System Capital Management (SCM), with USD 8 040 million;
- 7th — Yuri Kosyuk, owner and CEO of the agro-industrial holding Myronivsky Hliboproduct (MHP), with USD 1 080 million;
- 8th — Andrei Verevskiy, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kernel, with USD 1 041 million;
- 9th — Dmitriy Firtash, founder and owner of Group DF (Ostchem being a structural division of the Group), with USD 940 million;
- 10th — Alexander and Galina Gerega, the founders of Epicenter K, with USD 930 million;
- 12th — Petro Poroshenko, beneficiary of ROSHEN and UKRPROMINVEST-AGRO, President of Ukraine, with USD 850 million;
- 13th — Vladimir Kostelman, CEO of Fozzy Group, with USD 711 million;
- 14th — Aleksandr Yaroslavsky, owner and President of DCH Group (Kharkiv Tractor Plant being a structural division of the Group), with USD 680 million;
- 15th — Sergei Tigipko, owner of TAS Group (TAS AGRO being a structural division of the Group), with USD 640 million;
- 17th — Alexey Vadatursky, CEO of NIBULON, with USD 560 million;
- 19th — Vitaliy Khomutynnik, Cascade Investment Fund beneficiary, Member of Parliament of Ukraine, with USD 470 million;
- 28th — Oleg Sotnikov, co-owner of Fozzy Group, USD 327 million;
- 29th — Roman Chigir, co-owner of Fozzy Group, USD 327 million;
- 32nd — Boris Kolesnikov, owner of the Konti company, with USD 264 million;
- 39th — Evgeniy Sigal, co-founder of Agromars, USD 223 million;
- 46th — Aleksandr Tabalov, Chairman of the Board of Formula Smaku Group of Companies, with USD 180 million;
- 48th — Taras Barschovski, owner of T.B. Fruit, with USD 161 million;
- 56th — Fedor Shpig, co-owner of the holding Milk Alliance, USD 127 million;
- 57th — Aleksandr Derkach, co-owner of the holding Milk Alliance, USD 127 million;
- 59th — Sergei Lagur, co-owner of Continuum Group (Galychyna being a structural division of the Group), with USD 126 million;
- 60th — Boris Belikov, the CEO of Ovostar Union, with USD 125 million;
- 61st — Vitaliy Veresenko, co-owner of Ovostar Union, with USD 125 million;
- 66th — Vladimir Misik, founder of the holding Kulinichi, with USD 121 million;
- 71st — Dmitriy Kravchenko, head of the Supervisory Board of LNZ Group, with USD 118 million;
- 72nd — Yuri Zhuraliov, founder and Chairman of Agroton, with USD 118 million;
- 74th — Victor Ponomarchuk, Chairman of the industrial group ViOil, with USD 110 million;
- 75th — Vsevolod Kozhemyako, founder and CEO of the Agrotrade Group of companies, with USD 108 million;
- 76th — Sergei Krolevets, owner of the Eridon company, with USD 108 million;
- 79th — Vadim Ermolaev, founder of the Alef company, USD 101 million;
- 84th — Viktor Yushkovsky, owner of MegaMarket, with USD 82 million;
- 86th — Boris Muzalev, co-owner of Tavria V, with USD 72 million;
- 88th — Vasily Astion, Head of the Board of Directors and co-founder of Dnipro Agro Group, with USD 70 million;
- 89th — Alexander Kuzminsky, founder and owner of the Globino group of enterprises, with USD 69 million;
- 93rd — Viktor Ivanchyk, CEO of the agro-industrial holding Astarta-Kyiv, USD 61 million;
- 96th — Gennadiy Bobov, co-owner of the companies Kalinovyi Krai and Panda, with USD 59 million.
The total wealth of the whole hundred in 2018 totalled USD 40.9 billion.
